Od 30. kolovoza do 12. rujna Lopar će postati međunarodno okupljalište mladih glazbenika i renomiranih profesora klasične glazbe. U sklopu festivala Klassisk i Sentrum i međunarodnih majstorskih radionica u Loparu će boraviti mladi glazbenici te istaknuti profesori i izvođači iz Beča, Düsseldorfa, Barcelone i Madrida.
Tijekom gotovo dva tjedna klasična će glazba biti prisutna na različitim lokacijama diljem Lopara. Koncerti će se održavati u župnoj crkvi i prostoru Turističkog informativnog centra, nastava i probe u sportskoj dvorani, dok će glazbenici vježbati i u prostorijama lokalne škole.

Posebno zanimljiv dio programa bit će dolazak renomiranog orkestra Baltic Sea Philharmonic, koji će od 4. do 7. rujna boraviti i održavati probe na otoku Rabu pripremajući se za završni koncert 74. Ljubljana Festivala, zakazan za 8. rujna.
Orkestrom će ravnati međunarodno priznati dirigent Robert Treviño, dok će kao solistica nastupiti poznata slovenska violinistica Lana Trotovšek. Ljubljanski koncert bit će sniman za Mezzo, jedan od vodećih svjetskih televizijskih kanala posvećenih klasičnoj glazbi, kao i za platformu medici.tv.
Nakon nastupa u Ljubljani Baltic Sea Philharmonic nastavit će veliku europsku turneju koja uključuje koncerte u Halleu kod Leipziga, poljskom Koszalinu, na otvorenju Usedom Music Festivala te u Meranu i Veroni.
Poseban, neformalni glazbeni uvod publiku očekuje i u nedjelju, 6. rujna, navečer na terasi ispred San Marina, gdje će posjetitelji moći osjetiti dio atmosfere međunarodnog glazbenog susreta. Osim toga, od 3. do 11. rujna bit će svakodnevni koncerti.
Stanovnici i gosti Lopara tako će tijekom festivalskih dana glazbenike i zvukove klasične glazbe moći susresti i čuti na brojnim, ponekad neočekivanim mjestima. Organizatori stoga pozivaju sve zainteresirane da posjete festivalske lokacije, poslušaju koncerte i dožive posebnu međunarodnu glazbenu atmosferu koja će krajem kolovoza i početkom rujna zavladati Loparom.

From 30 August to 12 September, Lopar will become an international gathering place for young musicians and renowned professors of classical music. As part of the Klassisk i Sentrum Festival and its international masterclasses, Lopar will host young musicians alongside distinguished professors and performers from Vienna, Düsseldorf, Barcelona and Madrid.
For almost two weeks, classical music will be present at various locations throughout Lopar. Concerts will be held in the parish church and at the Tourist Information Centre, while lessons and rehearsals will take place in the sports hall. Musicians will also practise at the local school.
A particularly exciting part of the programme will be the arrival of the renowned Baltic Sea Philharmonic, which will stay and rehearse on the island of Rab from 4 to 7 September in preparation for the closing concert of the 74th Ljubljana Festival, scheduled for 8 September.
The orchestra will be conducted by internationally acclaimed conductor Robert Treviño, with celebrated Slovenian violinist Lana Trotovšek appearing as soloist. The Ljubljana concert will be filmed for Mezzo, one of the world’s leading television channels dedicated to classical music, as well as for the medici.tv platform.
Following its performance in Ljubljana, the Baltic Sea Philharmonic will continue on a major European tour, with concerts in Halle near Leipzig, Koszalin in Poland, at the opening of the Usedom Music Festival, as well as in Merano and Verona.
A special informal musical preview will also take place on the evening of Sunday, 6 September, on the terrace in front of San Marino, where visitors will have the opportunity to experience some of the atmosphere of this international musical gathering. In addition, daily concerts will be held from 3 to 11 September.
During the festival, residents and visitors to Lopar will therefore have the opportunity to encounter musicians and hear classical music in many different, and sometimes unexpected, locations. The organisers warmly invite everyone interested to visit the festival venues, attend the concerts and experience the special international musical atmosphere that will fill Lopar at the end of August and beginning of September.
